When you're the one holding it all together

Hospital, school, respite care, the municipality - and you in the middle, carrying the messages back and forth.

"Has she had her medicine?"Several medicines, several times a day, several people giving them. One message that doesn't get through, and you are left wondering.

Explaining everything, againEvery new helper, substitute teacher and doctor needs the whole story - what the seizures look like, what calms your child, and what to do when.

The doctor asks, and you have to guess"How many seizures since last time? How has she been sleeping?" The answers are spread across your memory, a notebook and three phones.

Receipts in a shoeboxThe municipality wants documentation for extra costs and driving. It piles up, and it always has to be done when you have the least energy.

Letting go is hardRespite care or a helper is only a break if you trust that they know what you know.

It all lives in your headAppointments, routines, phone numbers, what worked last time. If you are ill for a day, nobody else has the overview.

LumaCare gathers it in one place that everyone around your child can see.

Caring for someone you love is rarely a one-person job.

Everyone holds a piece of the puzzle. Questions fly, messages pile up, and the important things slip through the cracks.

Meet LumaCare. One shared place for everyone who helps care for her, so nothing gets lost.

On the phone or the computer, everyone sees the same picture, the moment it happens.

It’s built on six promises to your family. Here’s what each one means.

One. Everything gets written down.

Log a meal, a mood or a seizure in seconds, and everyone sees it right away.

And the good moments are kept too, in photos, video and sound.

Two. Everyone knows who does what, and when.

Shifts repeat by themselves. If nobody covers a day, LumaCare says so, and someone free picks it up.

Every shift ends with a handover, so the next person knows exactly what happened.

Three. Every caregiver gives the same care.

Bedtime, meals, what calms her down: short care guides any helper can follow from day one.

Four. The right dose, never forgotten, never doubled.

Confirm a dose right from the reminder, and everyone can see it’s been given. If one is missed, the family is told.

Five. The admin takes care of itself.

Snap a receipt, and it’s read and filed for you. When the paperwork is due, it’s one export, not a lost evening.

Six. The full picture, without digging.

Wondering how she’s really been sleeping? Just ask. The answer comes from everything your family has logged.

Or just say what happened, and it’s logged for you, fields and all.

Less time chasing information. More time for what really matters.

LumaCare. Care for your loved one, without the chaos. Start free today, and bring your whole team together.

A better way

Made for everyday life with a child who needs more

Start with the one thing that weighs most - you don't have to set up everything at once.

The daily log

Write it down in seconds - or just say it

A seizure, a meal, a rough night, a good moment. Log it with a couple of taps or by speaking, and choose for yourselves what you want to keep track of.

  • Ready-made templates for many diagnoses - or build your own
  • Everyone who helps writes in the same log
  • Photos and videos of the good days, kept with the rest

Everyone can see what has been given

Set up each medicine and its times once. Whoever is with your child gets a reminder and confirms the dose with one tap, and you are told if a dose is missed.

  • Reminders and one-tap confirmation for every scheduled dose
  • As-needed medicine, with a warning if it was given recently
  • A shared history of what was given, when and by whom

Helpers and respite care

They know what you know before they walk in

Write down once how your child is best helped - routines, signs to watch for, what to do during a seizure. Helpers, grandparents and respite carers read it on their phone, and you decide exactly what each of them can see.

  • Step-by-step guides in your own words
  • A short summary of what has happened since they were last there
  • A shared calendar of who is with your child, and when
If Emma has a seizure

FAQ

Questions parents ask

What is LumaCare?

LumaCare is an app where you and everyone around your child share the care: the medicine, seizures and other things you keep an eye on, the helpers' shifts, the appointments and the paperwork.

Who is it for?

For parents of a child with a disability or a rare or chronic illness - and for the grandparents, helpers, respite carers and others who look after your child.

Is LumaCare only for certain diagnoses?

No. You choose what to keep track of, so it fits whether your child has epilepsy, autism, cerebral palsy, a rare syndrome or something that doesn't have a name yet.

Can helpers, grandparents and respite carers use it too?

Yes. Invite them from the app. Each person has their own login and only sees what you allow. Everyone is covered by the family's plan: up to 3 people on the free Starter plan, 10 on Family and unlimited on Premium.

Do I have to set everything up at once?

No. Begin with one thing - the medicine or the daily log - and add the rest when you have the energy.

Can we bring the records we already keep?

Yes. Upload the spreadsheet you keep today - an Excel or CSV file, or an export from another system. LumaCare suggests how it fits your event types and shows a preview before anything is saved, so your history is on the timeline from day one.

Does it work on my phone and my computer?

Yes. LumaCare runs in the browser on any computer, there is an Android app on Google Play, and on iPhone and iPad you add it to the home screen from Safari. Everything stays in sync.

Does LumaCare give medical advice?

No. LumaCare helps you keep track and share - it doesn't diagnose, treat or replace advice from your child's doctor or hospital.

Is my child's information safe?

LumaCare is built with privacy by design. All data is encrypted, stored in EU data centres, and fully GDPR compliant - including Article 9 protections for health data.

What does it cost?

The Starter plan is free and needs no credit card. The Family and Premium plans can be tried free for 14 days - see the prices below.
